CEP Vacancy: Data & Policy Analyst

European Policy Centre (CEP) has announced the call to recruit for a Data & Policy Analyst position. We are looking for a responsible and result-focused professional, to work principally in the field of good governance and/or internal market/competitiveness. For more detailed information, please read below:

Scope of work:

  • Perform analyses (quantitative as well as qualitative) in several policy areas in CEP’s scope of work, primarily good governance and/or internal market/ competitiveness;
  • Provide advice on coordination, develop high level analyses and propose plans for policy development in these priority areas;
  • Regular analysis of the stakeholder landscape, identification of risks and mitigation measures, as well as design and preparation of project plans and proposals, under the guidance of CEP management;
  • Regular liaison with partners and stakeholders, as well as participation at events and high-level meetings.

Call for Applications: CEP Research Fellow 2016 (Young Professional Development Program)

Think Tank Fund

The European Policy Centre (CEP) is launching a call for young professionals in the fields of social sciences and humanities for a six month, full-time, Research Fellowship, as a part of the Think Tank Young Professional Development Program. The Research Fellow will, under the guidance of an experienced mentor, have the opportunity to be involved in all CEP’s research activities during the fellowship. The funding for the fellowship is provided by the Think Tank Fund for Wider Europe, a program of the Open Society Initiative for Europe (OSIFE).

Are you a recent graduate of Master or PhD studies at university in one of the OECD countries in the field of social sciences?

Do you wish to pursue your career in Serbia?

Are you interested in becoming a part of CEP team as a research fellow?

CEP is one of the think-tank organizations which is invited to host and mentor a young researcher, preferably a Serbian national, under the auspices of the Open Society Foundations Think Tank Fund. The future CEP fellow will be fully involved in the research activities of the organization with the mentorship of senior staff members throughout the entire 6-month duration of the programme, while the OSF TTF will bear the costs of the fellowship. If you meet the criteria of the programme, fit into one of the positions offered by CEP, wish to contribute to our work and acquire valuable experience and skills in research and communication, please contact Dragana Bajić (dragana.bajic@cep.org.rsby 31 July 2015. You should submit your CV in English or Serbian; motivation letter describing among others your interest in this development program, your skills and qualifications and the added value of your engagement in CEP; and the writing samples in English and Serbian.

Following the selection process at CEP, only one potential fellow will have a chance to submit an application to the OSF TTF (see Call for Applications).

Beginning of the fellowship: November 2015.
